European Studies -
International Master of Arts
Todays Europe is merging together, and contact with other regions
of the world is constantly intensifying.
This increasingly presents global businesses as well as internationally
operating institutions and administrative services with
tasks that demand an awareness of the special aspects within
this transnational region.
The European Studies programme, a continuing studies programme
in the social sciences, economics, and business at the
University of Flensburg, will qualify students to work in such an
environment. In addition to knowledge of European economic
institutions and intra-European relations, students will gain an
awareness of the history and cultural development of both the
continent as a whole and its regions.
Graduates will be given the tools to work with international
corporations with European ties, organizations with international
tasks, and institutions developed to work across national
boundaries.
This two-year programme leads to an International Master of
Arts in European Studies. The language of instruction is English,
and the programme is designed for students from all around the
world.
